Ibrahim Snoopy is once again a guest at the Cologne Africa Film Festival—this time as the festival’s patron, a jury member, and an important voice in the cultural dialogue about Sudan.
Last year, thanks to the support of the Jutta Vogel Foundation, Sudanese director Snoopy Ibrahim was welcomed at the Cologne Africa Film Festival with his documentary *Khartoum*, and through his presence and conversations with the audience, he provided compelling insights into the social and political reality of Sudan; the film also won the Audience Award for Best Documentary. We would like to build on this success by inviting Snoopy Ibrahim once again and expanding the festival program to include additional films about the current situation in Sudan.
