Cologne 2014: Africa Film Festival
Festival “Beyond Europe – Films from Africa”
FilmInitiativ Köln e.V. has been organizing the film festival “Beyond Europe – Films from Africa” since 1992. In more than two decades, more than 500 films from 40 African countries have been shown in Cologne at the biennial festival and in film series in the years in between. The audience had the opportunity to meet more than 100 filmmakers in person.
FilmInitiativ made information on all these films and its guests available to all interested parties via the database on its website. The Jutta Vogel Foundation was happy to support the 13th edition of the festival from September 18 to 28, 2014. Further information about the festival can be found here:
